FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about LQC Aventures raids and rides.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Do I need off-road experience?
For France rides, levels are announced per event (from beginner+ to expert) and you ride your own machine. For Morocco raids, off-road experience is recommended (and required for the Grand Sud). For Canada, no snowmobile experience is needed — a supervised initiation is included.
What's included?
For raids and the Canada trip: vehicle, fuel, guiding, support when needed, accommodation, full board on riding days and airport transfers — all-inclusive on site. International flights are never included. France rides include guiding and the announced services.
Is insurance required?
For international raids, repatriation insurance is mandatory and cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. For France rides, you ride under your own valid third-party (RC) insurance covering off-road use.
Do you share GPS tracks?
No. GPS tracks are never shared and recording them during a raid is not allowed — the routes are our own work and a core part of the LQC experience.
Deposit and cancellation?
Raids: 40% deposit, balance 30 days before departure. France weekends: a fixed deposit (usually €100), balance on arrival. Full cancellation terms are in the relevant terms of sale on our downloads page.
Security deposit?
A security deposit applies only to the Grand Sud (€2,000–€3,000 per vehicle, depending on machine and format) and Canada (3,000 CAD per snowmobile). For France, the simple rule is "you break it, you pay it", with no deposit.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Johnathan speaks French and English and will guide and answer you in English.
