April 2026 · High Atlas raid

High Atlas, April 2026 — When the Atlas wakes in spring

Departure from Marrakech Terminal 1, a group of six vehicles. The sun is already beating down on the tarmac, but Johnathan warns: in the Atlas, the mornings will be cold. He's right — the next day at 7:30am the peaks are under snow and it's hovering around 5°C.

The Toulkine plateau is stunning in April: almond trees in blossom, green barley fields, Berber villages suspended between earth and sky. At Amzri, the highest village on the route, the group is welcomed with hot tea and smiles. Here you don't just pass through — you meet people. On day 3, the descent to Lake Lalla Takerkoust alternates rocks, water crossings and cliff-side trails. Nobody talks on the radios — everyone is just looking.

March 2026 · High Atlas raid

High Atlas, March 2026 — The queen stage under snow

March in the Atlas is the season when anything can happen. This time, snow was waiting for us at the Toulkine pass. The ZForces slip, the drivers focus, and Johnathan adjusts the route in real time. That's exactly why a CQP guide makes the difference: not a GPS, but a human who knows every alternative.

The March group mixed two regular couples with three newcomers — within two days, the cohesion was there. That's the small-group effect: with six vehicles, no one stays anonymous. In the evening, around a steaming tagine, the trail stories flow. Sophie sums it up: “It's not just buggies, it's a human encounter.”

November 2025 · Atlas → Atlantic

Atlas → Atlantic, Nov 2025 — From earth to sea

The Atlas → Atlantic crossing is the “earth to sea” concept: you start in the Agafay desert, cross the Atlas mountains and the argan forest, and finish with your feet in the sand facing the ocean at Sidi Kaouki. Three environments in three days.

What strikes participants is the contrast — rocky pistes and lunar landscapes in the morning, Berber villages and argan scents in the afternoon, and on the last day the sea wind and that incomparable Atlantic light. Lunch facing the ocean after three days on the trail has become an LQC signature moment. Viviane said it: “Flawless organisation. You feel safe with the support 4x4 and the mechanic, which lets you focus on driving and the scenery.”

March 2025 · Atlas → Atlantic

Atlas → Atlantic, March 2025 — The very first raid

March 2025, the first ever Atlas → Atlantic raid in LQC history. Five vehicles — the minimum to confirm departure. Johnathan is stressed at Orly but doesn't show it. Everything is in place: the local partner has confirmed the machines, the lodgings are booked, the support 4x4 with mechanic is ready.

The result? Thierry sums it up in one sentence: “Johnathan knows his stuff. The group atmosphere was incredible — we leave as a family.” Since that first raid, the format hasn't changed, because it works.

Autumn 2025 · Rando des Chasseurs

The Rando des Chasseurs — Our France signature

September, when the Loiret forests start to change colour and the trails are dry and fast. The Rando des Chasseurs has become our signature event in France: a full day in the forest, 100 km of trails, and a terroir lunch out in nature.

The name came from a joke in the first group: “We ride like hunters looking for game — except we're looking for mud holes.” The name stuck, and so did the format: 9am start, 6pm return, technical but accessible terrain, and an atmosphere that brings people back every year.

Winter 2025 · Morvan weekend

Morvan Weekend — Mud and Burgundy terroir

The Morvan in winter is the dream playground for quad owners who want to get off the tarmac. Mud holes in abundance, dense forests, and that particular silence of granite massifs under the mist.

The typical weekend: arrival Friday evening at a characterful inn, briefing over dinner; Saturday and Sunday, two full days of guided riding with local guides who know every trail, Johnathan closing the group as sweep. In the evening, Burgundy terroir — and not just Charolais beef.

Owners · local guides + Johnathan as sweep · from €400 all-inclusive

Summer 2025 · Night ride

Night ride in the forest — Another world

The night ride is the same forest, but another world. LED lighting carves out the trees, the sounds change, the focus is different. Fewer kilometres than the day ride, but more intensity — every corner is a surprise.

The format is simple: late-afternoon meet-up, a 2-3 hour ride into the falling night and then full darkness, and back for a well-earned drink. Everyone who tries it once comes back. It's addictive.

Owners · LED lighting required · €50 rider / €30 passenger
